The extension of the license for the Registered Islamic
Front (FPI) is still incomplete. While FPI is still completing requirements,
the government conducts studies from the ideology to the sharia.
In addition to the Pancasila issue, the government is also
reviewing Islamic law in FPI. Not only to FPI, this evaluation was carried out
on every mass organization that submitted or extended SKT.
"The conditions have only been reviewed, examined,
because they are still incomplete. Later there will be a team consisting of
cross K / L (ministries / institutions), especially the Ministry of Religion
which will state that this is contrary to the Shari'a or not. So it's not just
one course," said Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs Hadi
Prabowo at Banteng Field, Central Jakarta, Friday (2/8/2019).
Hadi said the evaluation was aimed at checking whether the
mass organization was useful or not for the community. He said this evaluation
was carried out routinely.
"There is an evaluation, right? We will see the actions
of CSOs. Whether it deviates or not, this will be evaluated continuously. Is it
beneficial to the community, is it actually making something
contradictory," he said.
Regarding this evaluation, FPI's Head of Legal Aid Sugito
Atmo Prawiro said that FPI had an idea about a united Republic of Indonesia
(NKRI) sharia. However, he said by carrying out the Islamic Republic of
Indonesia, FPI did not intend to change Pancasila as a state ideology.
"Pancasila already accommodates the Islamic Shari'a
problem, in the precepts of the Almighty God. It means, the NKRI is sharia,
what is in Pancasila, and later its derivatives related to the Law are in line
with sharia. Not later it will change Pancasila," Sugito said when
contacted. , Friday (2/8).
He said the Islamic Republic of Indonesia as a term. He gave
examples of other terms, such as Islamic banking. Sugito said the Islamic
Republic of Indonesia is one of the vision and mission of FPI.
